Using the app

Intentions is a personal daily practice tool. By using it you agree to use it for its intended purpose. You may not reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the app or its content.

Free tier

The free version stores all your data locally on your device at no cost. We reserve the right to change or discontinue the free tier with reasonable notice.

iCloud backup

We strongly recommend enabling iCloud backup to protect your data against device loss or failure. This is controlled in iOS Settings. If you choose not to enable backup, data lost through device failure cannot be recovered.

Paid subscription: Insights

The Insights subscription is billed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing you also agree to Apple's terms at apple.com/legal.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before renewal
• Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

Your content

Your intentions and reflections are yours. We do not claim ownership of anything you write. Deleting the app deletes your local data.

AI processing

When you use Insights, your data is processed by our AI service provider under their standard usage policy. You can withdraw consent at any time in Account. Withdrawal disables AI features but does not affect your subscription or delete previously generated insights.

Limitation of liability

Intentions is a personal practice tool, not a therapeutic, medical, or psychological service. Nothing in the app constitutes professional advice. We are not liable for decisions made based on app content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
